Summary from Goodreads:
Got boy problems? Call Laney Scott. She's good for advice, a shoulder, or a swift kick where you need it. When her roommate Bethany gets her heart broken, yet again, it's Laney to the rescue. But Laney's harboring a secret. She's nursing her own broken heart. She and her friends come up with a plan to break Aiden and set it into play. Laney wants Aiden to pay for what he's done to Bethany. She will make him fall in love with her, so can break his heart.
Laney's ex-boyfriend Lachlan Hems is back in Florida, still Australian and sexy as hell. His best mate Lucas is getting married, and he is in town for the show. He just didn’t realize Laney would be there … in another guy’s arms, or that seeing her again would have such an effect on him. After the incident in high-school, he vowed to never care for her again. But sometimes fate has different plans.
When Laney’s resolve crumbles, Lachlan is the only one that can put her back together again.
Where You Are is the start of a three-books new adult series from Amazon and Barnes and Noble bestselling author Alla Kar.

Laney Anderson Interview:
1. You have amazing self-control (besides with Lachlan). What situation is your self-control most at risk?
*Blushes.* You’ve already answered your question. Anything to do with Lachlan. All he has to do is look at me with those eyes and I melt.
2. What part of loving Lachlan is hard? Easy?
Being with Lachlan is hard because I have a past with him. The past can be harder for some to forget. Seeing Lachlan, at first, made me think about all those things I wanted to forget and it scared me. But forgiving yourself is the hardest thing to do. You’re your worst critic. But once you do forgive yourself it’s easy to love gain. Now, loving Lachlan is the easiest thing I’ve ever done.
3. What do you like most about yourself?
I like my humor. People without humor scare me.
4. When you walk into a room what do you notice first? Last?
I normally see things completely differently than my friends. When we walk into a club they spot an empty table right off and I’m trying to get my heel out of a crack in the doorway. (And I’m trying to get the fruity drink I ordered off of my dress when a cute guy walks by.) That’s normally how things go. I’m not too observant.
5. What does Lachlan know about you that no one else does.
Where my tickle spot is. *Grins.*
